Ignition switch to suit Type 1 (Beetle) from 1971 to 1972 and Kombi from 1971 to 1974.

Wiring colour reference:
- Red (terminal 30): Battery power
- Black (terminal 15): Ignition coil
- Red/Black (Terminal 50): Starter motor solenoid.
- Grey (Terminal 1):  Accessories - not used in Australian vehicles.
- Brown: Not used in Australian vehicles.
- Black/Yellow (Terminal X): Fuse 10 - Headlight switch & wipers.
