IGNITION SWITCH TY1 TY2 TY3 68-70 METAL HOUSING

Ignition switch to suit Type 1 (Beetle), Type 2 (Kombi) and Type 3 models from 1968 to 1970.

- Direct replacement for your worn or defective ignition switch.
- Metal switch casing with wires attached directly to the back of the switch.
- Held in place by a single grub screw through the side of the alloy ignition housing.

Wiring information:
- Red (Terminal 30): Battery power
- Black (Terminal 15): Ignition coil/engine
- Red/Black (Terminal 50): Starter
- Grey (Terminal 1): Accessories - Not used on Australian vehicles
** Note: The grey wire should be insulated separately to eliminate the chance of accidental short circuits.
